From the Principal

We are almost at the end of our first term at ACC Launceston. What a wonderful term it has been! We are so blessed to be seeing challenges turn into amazing opportunities for God's provision in the lives of students, families and staff.

It is exciting to see each child develop to become all that God has for them. As a staff we are continually working with students to help them grow in each key area, be it spiritual, academic, social or emotional. Spending time over the last four weeks in all our classrooms has been an opportunity to see how each class works as a group and how each student can be a unique contributor to that group. It has helped me see opportunities to celebrate student work and also define aspects that we can develop further.

Our staff have been working hard, stepping into the gaps and becoming solutions focused. Watching the resilience of both students and staff this term, I am reminded of Paul's description in Romans 12 reminding us that while we don't all have the same skills or abilities, if we work together, we become the fully functioning body of Christ, able to represent Him and serve those around us in His name.  I know our staff's highest priority is to serve Jesus and provide the very best opportunities for our students.

We are praying for a safe and restful break for our students and staff over the coming break and look forward to all that awaits us next term.

Easter Service at ACCL

On the Thursday before Easter we hosted an Easter Service for all of our students, families and friends.

This was a fantastic morning where we saw presentations from each class including an awesome dance from the students.

We had a visiting speaker Pastor Matt Laidler who shared an Easter message with us which we all enjoyed and felt challenged by.

We also enjoyed an amazing morning tea which was put on by our senior students and we were so blessed by the amount of families who came along and supported the service and then stayed to fellowship afterwards.

Please enjoy the photos from our service and we look forward to many more opportunities to gather together as a school family.

Student Safety - WWVP Checks

At Australian Christian College Launceston we take the safety of our students very seriously.

Therefore we require all parents and volunteers who wish to come and help at the school to hold a Working with Vulnerable People card.

If you could send a copy of your card to [email protected] that would be greatly appreciated. Alternatively bring your card in and we can take a copy.

If you do not have a WWVP Card yet it is simple to apply, just follow the link below and fill in the online form.
